About Us
Mukta Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded on 28 March 2018 by Sujata Saproo and her team of passionate changemakers. With a mission to create a just, inclusive, and compassionate society, the foundation works tirelessly to uplift underprivileged individuals and empower communities across India.
At Mukta Foundation, we believe that every person—child, woman, or elderly—deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope. Our initiatives focus on providing education to children, vocational training for women, healthcare and nutrition for the underprivileged, and care for senior citizens. We also extend mental health and rehabilitation support to help individuals rebuild their lives with confidence and self-respect.
Driven by compassion and guided by the principle of “Service to humanity is the greatest virtue,” we work at the grassroots level to bring tangible change where it’s needed the most. Whether it’s empowering a woman through skill development, helping a child access education, or caring for the elderly, every effort at Mukta Foundation is a step toward a more equitable and kind world.
Our work is supported by volunteers, donors, and partners who share our belief that together, we can transform lives. Through collective effort and unwavering commitment, we continue to touch hearts, uplift communities, and inspire hope across the nation.
