The driving force behind Mukta Foundation, Sujata Saproo is a visionary leader and compassionate social worker dedicated to uplifting lives and empowering communities across India.

With a deep belief in humanity, equality, and service, Sujata founded Mukta Foundation on 28 March 2018, with the vision of creating a just, inclusive, and compassionate society where every individual—regardless of background—has access to dignity, opportunity, and hope.

Her journey began with a simple yet powerful realization: millions of people in India continue to struggle for basic needs, education, and support. Determined to make a difference, she gathered a team of like-minded individuals and started reaching out to those who needed help the most — underprivileged children, women, the elderly, and mentally rehabilitated individuals.

Under her guidance, Mukta Foundation has grown into a trusted organization known for its grassroots initiatives, women empowerment programs, child education efforts, and community welfare drives. Her leadership during the COVID-19 crisis, where the foundation provided food, clothing, and financial support to countless families, stands as a testament to her compassion and resilience.
